Product Overview & Core Technology
CYCLOTENE™ CWG-2000 & CWG-2100 series are photosensitive polymer optical waveguide dry film materials engineered for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), high-speed optical switch ASICs, and data center on-board optical interconnects.
CWG-2000 functions as the high-index Core layer, while CWG-2100 serves as the Bottom/Top Clad layers, delivering precise refractive index contrast and ultra-low optical transmission loss.
Optical Performance
- Multi-Mode Loss (@850nm): < 0.1 dB/cm (Ultra-low transmission loss)
- Single-Mode Loss (@1310nm): < 0.4 dB/cm
- Refractive Index Contrast (ΔRI @850nm): Core 1.560 / Clad 1.545
- Tone / Developer: Negative / Standard 2.38% TMAH alkaline developer
Film Control & Environmental Reliability
- Clad Thickness Options: 20 µm and 45 µm precision control
- Core Thickness: 43 µm precision patterning
- HTHH Reliability: High-temperature / high-humidity (85°C / 85% RH) optical loss change < 10%
- High Heat Resistance: Lead-free solder reflow compatible
